WELL VISITS FOR KIDS MATTER MORE THAN EVER:

Regular well visits are essential to keeping your kids' immune system in fighting condition. With the summer season on our doorstep, keeping up with your child’s well visits are more important than ever. Do not delay your child’s checkups and vaccines.  Read more by going to "Vaccines".

It is essential for you to continue your child’s regular well visits to the pediatrician. These appointments (which may be monthly, quarterly or yearly based on your child’s age) gives the doctor an opportunity to check your child’s growth, hearing, eyesight, physical and emotional development and any other concerns you or your child may have.

Just as importantly, these visits also keep your child up to date on all of their vaccines. After all, it’s not just babies who need immunizations to protect them from potentially serious viruses. And, with cold and flu season  – in addition to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – staying on track with vaccines is one of the best ways to keep your child’s immune system in fighting condition.

Find out what the important vaccinations are for children and how you can use a well-child exam to stay current with all of their healthcare screenings, tests and shots.

If you are looking for a doctor in a community near  you - Dr. James A. Weidman and Dr. Lianne E. Beerman are here to help you.
